Kremlin assessed the consequences of Rusophobic policy in Ukraine


Rusophobia in Ukraine has been elevated to the rank of domestic state policy for the last few years, Russian leader Dmitry Peskov's spokesman said on February 13. Peskov added that such a policy could not but produce its sad results in terms of provoking negative sentiment towards Russia. The Kremlin representative also noted that even if the foundations of this Rusophobic policy change, it will take a long time. According to the news agency, according to a survey conducted by Levada Center, recently residents of Russia have become worse about Ukraine. If in September 56% of citizens of the Russian Federation spoke about good relations, in January 2020 their share decreased to 42%. 47% of respondents treat Ukraine poorly (31% in September 2019). 56% of respondents believe that Russia and Ukraine should be independent but friendly states with open borders, without visas and customs.
