Apple announces 11% quarterly revenue growth

Apple's revenue in the third quarter of fiscal 2020 (which ended July 27) increased by almost 11%, compared to the same quarter of 2019. This follows from the company's financial statements published on July 30. Over the past three months, Apple's revenue has reached $59.7 billion, which is $5.9 billion more than last year, when its value was $53.8 billion. Net profit for the past quarter also increased compared to last year. With a value of $11.3 billion, its growth amounted to 13% or $1.3 billion. In the third quarter of fiscal 2019, the company's net profit amounted to $10 billion. It is noted that the bulk of revenue was received by Apple from sales of smartphones iPhone and the work of the company's services. According to the news agency, the founder of the VKontakte social network and the Telegram messenger Pavel Durov accused the American technology corporation Apple of monopoly and pumping money out of its customers. According to him, Apple products are sold with a fantastic mark-up, the company takes several hundred dollars more from users than the cost of the smartphone itself.
