TikTok and WeChat will be banned in the United States from September 20

The US Department of Commerce announced a ban on downloading TikTok and WeChat, which comes into force on September 20. This means that Apple and Google must remove these services from their app stores, blocking access to them for new users. It is known that all those with TikTok and WeChat already installed can continue to use them.
