Head of South Korea urged residents to return to daily life


Due to the spread of new type pneumonia caused by coronavirus 2019- nCoV, South Korea recorded a decline in attendance and a decline in sales in traditional markets. According to sources, on February 12, South Korean President Moon Jae-in personally visited Namdemong Metropolitan Market, where he met with traders. During his visit, the Head of State asked market employees in detail about the current situation of traders, who, in turn, complained that due to coronavirus the number of visitors had decreased by more than a third. The President also said that the situation with the virus is gradually improving, and soon the economic activity of the population of the country will recover. It is noted that Moon Jae-in had lunch with market workers, and also called on citizens of the country to return to normal life, stressing that if the recommendations of the Ministry of Health are respected, there are no reasons for fear. The presidential administration also decided to close the service cafeterias and canteens for three months (Fridays) to support catering enterprises.
