Xiaomi says Mi 10 line won 't get SE version

The Chinese company Xiaomi does not plan to release the SE-version of the smartphone in the line Mi 10, XiaomiToday reports. Among the models of the lines of the flagship smartphones Xiaomi Mi 8 and Mi 9 were devices with more compact size and reduced price. Many users of Xiaomi devices expected such models, called SE, to be released in the Mi 10 line. However, the company introduced only two Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro models. The head of Xiaomi software department Zhang Gozyuan on Weibo social network confirmed that in 2020 the company does not plan to release SE models. Xiaomi product manager Van Teng Thomas added that the company decided to abandon SE models in the flagship smartphone line because it was becoming increasingly difficult to design high-performance devices with compact sizes. As previously reported by the news agency, on February 13 Xiaomi introduced new models of smartphones Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. In Russia the cost of Mi 10 version will be about 36 thousand rubles, Mi 10 Pro about 43 thousand rubles.
