Nationalists carry flowers to Liberty Monument in central Riga

The flowers to the Liberty Monument in the center of Riga on March 16 are laid by veterans of the National Legion of the SS, members of the Society of National Warriors (Latvian Nacionālo karavíru biedríba), as well as deputies of the Seimas. According to journalists, earlier the head of the National Association Ravis Dzintars called on everyone, respecting a safe distance, to lay flowers at the Monument of Liberty in Riga. Flowers on March 16 at the Monument of Liberty were and will be, said Ravis Dzintars. Events at the Liberty Monument in Riga were previously cancelled by the Riga Duma due to the spread of coronavirus.
