Latvian airline AirBaltic resumed flights to a number of countries in Europe
Flights to Helsinki, Munich and Berlin from Riga are resumed by Latvian airline AirBaltic. This was reported on May 19 by the press service of the air carrier. According to the press service, from May 25 direct flights from Riga to Helsinki and Munich will be resumed, and from June 1 to Berlin. At the same time, the airline aims to maintain its position in the region. It is also stated that the airline puts the safety of passengers first of all. All passengers will be provided with protective masks and disinfecting napkins during flights, employees follow the recommendations of responsible institutions. Earlier, the news agency reported that, on the basis of a AirBaltic by the Government, the United States and Riga International Airport had resumed air traffic between a number of Baltic States since 18 May and had introduced a number of new security measures to limit the spread of a new type of coronavirus. In addition, it will AirBaltic daily direct flights from Riga to Frankfurt and Oslo, and from the airport in Tallinn to Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Oslo and Vilnius.
