Coronavirus found in 30 evacuated Tajiks
30 citizens of Tajikistan with a confirmed coronavirus were hospitalized in the Sogdian regional hospital the day before they were returned from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, Asia Plus reports today, June 23, citing its own source. In all patients, COVID-19 symptoms are absent, well-being was described as normal, but tests showed a positive result. These are young people aged 30 36 years, the source added. As the source of the publication noted, before that, the Sogdian hospital was preparing to return to the usual mode of work in intensive care, only one patient with confirmed coronavirus remained. There were 620 people in contact with citizens who had been identified with coronavirus: some of them had already been tested by about 100,200 people, and among them these 30 people were identified. All returning Tajiks are in quarantine zones. Recall that on June 20, 533 citizens of the country from Kazakhstan were returned to Tajikistan, where they were stuck at the Zhibek Zholy border checkpoint due to border closure. Also, more than 100 people returned from Uzbekistan through the Fotekhoboda border point.
