In Venezuela, on the border with Colombia, confiscated a large shipment of drugs


More than 9.1 tons of cocaine and raw materials for its manufacture were discovered and seized by employees of Venezuelan law enforcement agencies on the border with Colombia, Venezuelan Interior Minister Nestor Reverol said on his Twitter page. As a result of the operation, two large camps with 25 laboratories for the production of narcotic drugs were stopped. For this purpose, Venezuelan military personnel and employees of the National Drug Control Directorate were involved. More than 17 tons of chemicals and other drug materials found in laboratories have been destroyed. According to the news agency, on June 29, 1.2 tons of cocaine were seized in the port of the Colombian city of Cartagena during a police operation.
