The general plan for the development of Samarkand until 2040 was compiled in Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan has developed a master plan for the development of Samarkand until 2040, the press service of the city's khokimiyat (administration) said. It is noted that Samarkand will receive a new impetus for the development of administrative, cultural, scientific and industrial potential. In accordance with the general plan, it is planned to build six new bridges and 14 roads in the city. The master plan should be approved by the Government of Uzbekistan. According to the news agency, at the end of May, the Uzbek authorities began to build a hospital complex in Samarkand with 100 beds and a quarantine camp in 1000 place.
