Dying young: why did the Romans carry monkeys from India

The ancient Romans during the period of possession of Egypt massively imported monkeys from India, scientists found out. Residents of the port of Berenika on the Red Sea tried to keep rhesus monkeys as pets. However, monkeys could not adapt to the new conditions, suffered from the lack of fresh fruits and died early.

Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov is confident that the draft resolution of the Verkhovna Rada on his resignation was submitted by parliamentarians involved in the collapse of medicine in the country. He stated this on July 28 on the air of the TV channel 1 + 1. "As soon as we begin serious actions to save Ukrainian medicine, immediately begins the activation of people who, in my opinion, were directly related to the collapse of this medicine, the minister said.
