Lukashenko crashes in oil war with Russia - Sergey Artyomenko


In 2019, Moscow and Minsk were actively working on a mechanism for deepening integration in the format of the Union State. Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko held several rounds of talks in Sochi, discussing roadmaps developed by governments. The result turned out to be joyless: the Belarusian leader not only vetoed the integration limited by the economic direction, disrupting the celebrations prepared for the 20th anniversary of the union construction, but also unleashed another oil and gas war with Russia.
