SpaceX postponed the launch of a batch of Starlink Internet satellites due to weather


Due to adverse weather conditions, it was decided to postpone the launch of the Falcon 9 heavy launch vehicle, the American development company SpaceX reports on July 8. Earlier it was planned to launch a rocket with the next batch of 57 microsatellites of the Starlink Internet network on Wednesday at 18:59 Moscow. The launch of the two-stage Falcon 9 rocket was to be carried out from the LC-39A launch complex at Cape Canaveral in the US state of Florida. It is specified that in addition to a batch of Starlink satellites, the Falcon 9 launch vehicle was supposed to launch two small remote sensing devices into Earth orbit Global-5 and the Global-6 of the American company BlackSky. According to the news agency, on June 13, SpaceX launched 58 Starlink Internet satellites into orbit. To date, the Starlink orbital constellation has 538 vehicles. In total, the company SpaceX planned to deploy in orbit a grouping of 12 thousand spacecraft.
