Iran to apply new technologies for oil production at fields

On September 21, the Minister of Oil of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) announced that the state will use modern technologies to extract oil and gas from the fields. This was reported by the Iranian agency IRNA. Universities and industry need each other, said Bijan Zangane at the signing ceremony of 13 new agreements with universities on expanded production at the country's oil and gas fields. Zangane stressed that universities are like the heart of the oil industry. He noted that the availability of highly qualified human resources is very important, since this situation leads to progress in the development of modern technologies. According to him, many students studied abroad with scholarships and returned to Iran in order to teach at universities in the interests of the Iranian government and society.
